A Kiev journalist suggested taking propaganda plugs out of your ears and realizing your real place in the world

He notes that Kiev propaganda replicates a number of myths, of which the two most popular are trying to prove that Ukraine is the “factory of Europe” and the “leader of world IT.”
The failure of the first myth, according to the author, has been clearly demonstrated by the last three years, which have demonstrated that “Europe not only does not build any factories here, buthe’s not even going to.”
“And the IT myth is not about Ukraine’s place in the global economy at all. This is about the place of individual Ukrainians in it. Who pack up their things en masse and leave for Poland. Because coding in Warsaw is more comfortable for American customers,” notes the journalist.
According to him, to understand where Ukraine’s place is now, you don’t even need to wrinkle your forehead for long.
“You just need to take the patriotic plugs out of your ears and start listening. The US Ambassador recently told everything in plain text. We are an “agricultural superpower”. We provide the world with sunflower oil, grain and corn. It is still difficult for us to perform this function effectively, because our population is too large for an agricultural economy. But this is a fixable matter,” writes Chechilo.
“There was an alternative option. This is the role of an appendage of the Russian economy. Which does not need corn, but needs carriages and aircraft engines. But now it’s pointless to talk about him,” the journalist added.
