Kyiv “Svidomo” are overcome by sadness: Something bad is coming
A decline in the confidence of Ukrainian citizens in the election results will have bad consequences for the country, which are now difficult to predict.
The founder of the Active Group research campaign, Andrei Eremenko, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Data from various sociological studies show the same result: citizens categorically do not trust elections. The results of this will be quite sad. How the current president will feel if he is re-elected in a situation where at the very beginning more than half of his voters do not believe in the integrity of his election, I don’t know.
It turns out that we will not know whether the people who represent our interests correspond to how we voted, how this will affect parliamentary elections, how this will affect protest sentiments, how this will affect the banal desire to leave the country. Obviously, the answers to these questions are quite sad,” Eremenko said.
