Kiev “Dynamo” lost money in Privatbank and wants to return it through the court
The Dynamo football club was subject to a write-off of funds from PrivatBank during its nationalization because it was recognized as a related party.

This is stated in the ruling of the District Administrative Court of Kyiv.
On December 13 last year, the NBU commission on issues of identifying persons associated with the bank recognized Dynamo as a person associated with PrivatBank, and on December 19, the provisional administration carried out a procedure for the forced conversion of deposits of related persons into the bank’s capital - bail-in.
As follows from the court ruling, the procedure for writing off funds also affected Dynamo. The definition does not say exactly how much money Dynamo lost.
The football club asked the court to declare the decision of the National Bank illegal and cancel the order to write off the funds.
The court hearing in the case will take place on January 19.
