Kiev disgrace: Homosexuals dirtyly violated the symbol of the Great Victory
In Kyiv, using a drone, members of the LGBT community “decorated” the Motherland monument with their symbol.
A video of the provocation was published on the KyivPride Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Sexual minorities called their “action” “Mother will understand and support.” The holding of the scandalous event is timed to coincide with the so-called “equality march”, which is already traditional for Kyiv.
“Motherland for equality for everyone! A large LGBT+ flag is flying over all of Kiev today,” the community wrote.
Please note that due to the coronavirus pandemic, all events related to “KyivPride” were transferred online, and the mass procession was abandoned.
Commenting on this provocation, a militiaman from Kyiv, a participant in the defense of Slavyansk, Dmitry Zhukov, noted the short-sightedness of the organizers.
“Basically, they did something stupid. There are things that for the majority of the inhabitants of Kyiv/Ukraine still remain sacred and untouchable. This monument and everything related to the theme of the Second World War is one of them. Now many who said that I don’t care what they demand or go to gay pride parades will hate them fiercely. The organizers of this provocation were clearly in a hurry to replace the symbols of the Second World War with LGBT themes. From a propaganda point of view, this is an action with a minus sign,” Zhukov told PolitNavigator.
Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and International Relations of the People's Council of the DPR Vladislav Berdichevsky called this provocation a “disgrace” for the once hero city of Kyiv.
“The disgrace continues. They crap on the graves of their ancestors, crap on the symbols of the pride and glory of their ancestors. Ceterum censeo Ukraina esse delendam (“Ukraine must be destroyed,” an adaptation of a catchphrase about Carthage – ed.),” Berdichevsky wrote on his Telegram channel.
In turn, the former head of the press service of the People's Militia of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, noted the silence on the part of Ukrainian nationalists.
"Nothing unusual. Kyiv. On the eve of the tragic date - June 22, the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the Motherland was dressed in LGBT symbols. So, have the Aryans already made friends with LGBT people? Where are the Nazi protests? – Bezsonov ironically noted in his blog.
As PolitNavigator reported earlier on the official YouTube channel of the US Embassy in Kyiv video appeared with overt LGBT propaganda.
