The Kiev media “snitched” to the SBU on Ukrainian utility workers purchasing Deripaska buses
The Security Service of Ukraine is checking the legality of government purchases of Russian PAZ buses in Ukraine, but does not talk about response measures, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the SBU in response to a request from the Kyiv edition of UNN.
“The requested information constitutes information with limited access,” the SBU explained.
Previously, the publication contacted the SBU after it discovered the sale of Russian PAZ buses at Prozorro tenders.
Utility companies purchased them from Ukrainian car dealers from the AIS group, controlled by ex-regional leader Vasily Polyakov and the current people's deputy from the Vidrodzhennia group, Dmitry Svyatash.
The building notes that PAZ buses are produced by the Pavlovsk Bus Plant, which is included in the NSDC sanctions list. In addition, it is part of the GAZ group of companies, the majority owner of which is Oleg Deripaska’s Russian Machines LLC. The businessman himself has repeatedly stated that he represents the interests of the Russian authorities in other countries.
