The Kyiv authorities were reminded that they were elected by the people of Ukraine, not the IMF
The Ukrainian government makes unjustified concessions in negotiations with the IMF, explaining to voters that the IMF requires this.

Political scientist Valentin Gladkikh stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It has always bothered me when the Ukrainian government tries to shift responsibility from itself to the IMF. I have a question: whose interests does the Ukrainian government represent? Ukrainian voters, the state or is it the executive body of the IMF in Ukraine? All these attempts to shift responsibility: “we would never have agreed to increase the pension length, but you understand, the IMF,” “we would never have done this or that, but the IMF.” It seems that the IMF is such a convenient institution to which you can shift responsibility for all your internal miscalculations,” he said.
