This decision was made by the FFU AC at a meeting today, November 14. About it zbirna.com reports.
Let us remind you that the match of the 7th round of the Ukrainian Premier League “Mariupol” - “Dynamo” took place on August 27 due to the absence of Kiev residents. “Dynamo” motivated its decision by the lack of security guarantees in Mariupol from government agencies and offered to play on a neutral field.
However, members of the FFU Control and Disciplinary Committee, having studied the documents available in them, awarded Dynamo a defeat with a score of 0:3. The people of Kiev were going to appeal this decision in the legal field, but then they invited the UPL clubs to determine their position regarding the replay of the match.
The proposal of the Kyiv club was supported by the majority of UPL members: “Zarya”, “Alexandria”, “Zvezda”, “Karpaty”, “Olympic”, “Chernomorets”, “Stal”. “Mariupol” itself, as well as “Shakhtar” and “Vorskla” were against such an initiative, “Veres” abstained.
