The Kyiv synagogue could be bugged because of Yatsenyuk’s comrade-in-arms
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine could have installed listening devices in the central synagogue of Kiev, in particular, because of the People's Deputy from the Popular Front and ally of ex-Prime Minister Aoseny Yatsenyuk Georgy Logvinsky and other wealthy Ukrainians and officials visiting the synagogue.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with the Kyiv publication UNN by the odious people's deputy from the BPP Borislav Rosenblat.
“I learned about this (about the attempt to wiretap NABU in a synagogue in Kyiv - Ed.) from the media. Now I know that not only Ukrainian, but also Israeli intelligence services are dealing with this issue. Because this is unusual news. I think this is evidence that NABU operates in an illegal and illegal field in our country. If, indeed, listening devices are already being installed in synagogues, plus even in churches, then the secret of confession is no longer there,” he emphasized.
Answering the question about whether such a probable installation of “wiretapping” could be connected with the defendants in criminal proceedings who go to the Kyiv synagogue, Rosenblat said: “Yes. I think that this is connected, first of all, with Georgy Logvinsky, and with other wealthy Ukrainian people, officials who sometimes come to the synagogue.”
“I wanted to note that there will be important Jewish holidays ahead. I think that in principle this was being prepared, many different people will come. Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada and officials will definitely come. I think it was just being prepared, because there will be a lot of conversations among ourselves. I believe that this is already the limit,” the people’s deputy added.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, the chief rabbi of Ukraine, Moshe Reuven Asman, announced the wiretapping of the central synagogue of the capital. In his open appeal, he accused NABU of illegal wiretapping, invited the head of NABU to the synagogue and promised to complain to the United States and Israel.
Let us add that this is not the first scandal related to wiretapping and NABU. On September 19, the head of the SAPO, Nazar Kholodnitsky, said that they wanted to install listening devices in the SAPO. This happened against the backdrop of a clash between NABU and SAPO employees.
This spring, information appeared in the Ukrainian media that a “wiretap” was found in Kholodnitsky’s office - a device that was attached to an aquarium near the desk of the anti-corruption prosecutor. There were reports in the media that the wiretapping could allegedly have been installed by NABU officers with the consent of Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko.
