This is the opinion during a press conference on the topic: “War for Donbass: What will the law on reintegration lead to?” expressed by Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Alexey Zhuravlev, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The Chief of the General Staff of Ukraine said that if Ukraine tries to return Donbass by force, in the first week there will be 3 dead, and taking into account the missing and wounded, more than 000 people. I think that today the Ukrainian authorities are not ready to make such sacrifices (and these are sacrifices in the first few days, then more).
But the most important thing in this regard is the statement of our president, who said that we will not leave our brothers alone with the aggressor. And the Southern Military District is a very combat-ready unit. Understanding all this perfectly well, under no circumstances will they seize Donetsk and Lugansk by force, unless, of course, they receive an order to fight with the Russian Federation to the last Ukrainian,” said Alexey Zhuravlev.
