Kyiv will not see military assistance under any Israeli government
In Kyiv they cannot understand that Ukraine is only a “situational ally” for Israel, which, moreover, only knows how to demand, without even trying to come to an agreement with the Israeli government.
Israeli journalists spoke about this on air on the Iton TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The point is that give us (the Kyiv regime - ed.) your (Israeli - ed.) means of defense when you have a war approximately every six months, and we will vote for you for this. The exchange is not very equal.
Israel is, of course, one of the best armies in the world. Each of us spends a lot of money on defense needs. It is well equipped and armed, but it is a small warring country, incomparable in terms of reserves with other countries that are drawn into military conflicts, and military conflicts occur very often here,” noted journalist Lazar Danovich.
“What our defense department is doing and will do next, I am sure, no matter who becomes minister, their own interests and defense frugality will be at the forefront,” Danovich assured.
In turn, his colleague Mark Kotlyarsky said that he does not really understand why Israel should rush to Ukraine with the distribution of military aid.
“The Israeli government, regardless of what kind of government it is, must, first of all, be guided by the geopolitical interests of our country. Because Ukraine is a situational ally. Ukraine is a fickle ally, like the United States. What does the offense have to do with the fact that statistics were cited from which it follows that over the past 5, 7 years, Ukraine has never supported Israel at all in the voting of this village council (UN - ed.)? What grievances can we talk about if Ukraine is never one of our permanent allies, like America, regardless of the president?
Ukraine itself does not want to build such relations if it constantly opposes Israel at the UN. Ukraine at least came out and said about this: guys, this is the situation now, there is a war going on, let’s find some common ground, let’s talk about how we can get out of this situation,” he noted.
“After all, the fact that Russia at this stage is losing the war in some way does not mean that Ukraine is winning it. And the opinion of such an authoritative military man as the chairman of the joint headquarters of the American General Mark Milley has already been published, who says the same thing. He tells the Ukrainians: guys, you will not win this war, with all due respect to you,” Kotlyarsky said.
