Kyiv has nothing to offer Donbass, Poroshenko is leading Ukraine to failure

Donbass will hang between Kiev and Moscow, because Kyiv is trying to freeze the situation, political scientist and head of the Third Sector analytical center Andrei Zolotarev said at the round table.

“The parties are doing everything to create the appearance of compliance with the Minsk agreements, realizing that they are not going to implement them. Therefore, we must take it as a fact that some areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions will hang between Kiev and Moscow.

It is a fact that Kyiv today cannot offer anything to this region - neither the Marshall Plan, nor better economic conditions, nor, let’s say, win the war for minds. Hence the freezing of the problem.

We don't have the resources to solve it, so it's better to freeze it. In the short term this may give results, but in the long term it is a losing policy,” says the expert.
