Kyiv needs Patriots to transfer all S-300s to Donbass - Colonel of the LPR
The effect of attacks on the Ukrainian energy system also affects the operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ air defense systems, which, being forced to switch to generators, become an easy target for detection.
Advisor to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR, Colonel Vitaly Kiselyov, stated this on the air of the First Sevastopol TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Discovery of air defense systems that are located at the Armed Forces of Ukraine - they are stretching large cables there, because the system must still work as a complex, it cannot be that one air defense system is working here, and 1000 km away another air defense system. Of course, they are tied to some area of electrification. And using generators, they are more easily detected by us, and drones perform this functionality.
This is why Zelensky demands “Patriots” from America. They want to send them to Lviv, they want to deliver them to Kyiv and maybe also to Dnepropetrovsk in order to free the S-300s and send them here to the territory of Donbass,” Kiselyov said.
