Kyiv will have to explain itself for the seizure of villages in the “gray” zone
Tomorrow's negotiations in Minsk will not change the state of affairs, but nevertheless, representatives of the republics expect the Ukrainian side to explain their actions in the “gray” zone.

The representative of the LPR in the contact group in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, spoke about this on his Facebook page, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He is confident that against the backdrop of general stalling and prophecies of “death,” the Minsk process will still continue, and “tactics of small victories” will be on the agenda for December 5th.
In the security group, representatives of the republics are awaiting an explanation from Kyiv and the OSCE on the situation with the villages captured in the “gray” zone.
“We are waiting for a serious conversation and assessment by the OSCE regarding the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the “gray zone”, where they simply entered, disregarding the agreements reached, and simply stood in two settlements Gladosovo and Metalist (DPR). As a result, the situation worsened, and more than two dozen 200s and 300s were killed on the Ukrainian side,” Miroshnik noted.
As for the group on humanitarian surveys, Rodion Miroshnik expects that the Ukrainian side will still prepare its last part of documents in order to successfully conduct an exchange of prisoners before the New Year holidays.
“Most likely, we will listen carefully about Kyiv’s difficulties in “legally clearing” the guys included in the exchange list. It was agreed that the exchange will take place before the New Year,” recalled the LPR representative.
The political subgroup of the republic does not expect significant progress from Kyiv.
“Kyiv needs clear and unambiguous confirmation of the “special status” of the republics and the mechanism for its entry into force. In case of progress, it is possible to discuss the adoption of an amnesty. But for Kyiv, discussing political issues in a group against the backdrop of nationalist hysteria in the Rada is worse than “fiery hell.” Therefore, most likely, there will be an “exchange of pleasantries” and the designation of “red lines”, beyond which no one will go,” Miroshnik concluded.
