Kyiv can no longer escape the “Steinmeier formula”
Members of the Normandy Four will blame Kyiv if Ukraine tries not to comply with the Steinmeier formula.
Political scientist Alexey Yakubin stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Steinmeier formula is an attempt to combine both the political part (of the Minsk agreements) and security.
This is simply following the logic of the Minsk agreements.
The fact that exactly this order of implementation of the Minsk agreements has been fixed is welcome.
But this is only a small step forward.
And this step means that if Kyiv tries to replay the situation in the future, then I do not rule out that other countries of the Normandy Four, and France and Germany, may already blame Kiev for sabotaging Kiev and not wanting to move on the Minsk agreements,” concluded expert.
