Kikabidze became an outcast in Georgia (VIDEO)
Kyiv, March 20 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – At a recent press conference in Kyiv, artist Vakhtang Kikabidze jokingly stated that he was thinking about asking for political asylum in Ukraine. It is possible that there is some truth in these words, since after the departure of Mikheil Saakashvili, the artist was not in demand in his homeland.
This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by Tamara Shavladze, co-founder of the Alliance of Baltic-Black Sea Nations, an organization that unites opponents of Russia.

“After Saakashvili’s departure, the Georgian authorities began to put terrible pressure on Kikabidze. There is slander and insults. In Georgia now this is happening every day. I don't even remember the last time he sang. He is not even invited to events. You can now see him more in Kyiv than in Tbilisi,” she said in response to a question from a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Let us recall that Kikabidze demonstratively refused to perform in Russia after the war in the Caucasus in August 2008.
