Kirill Stremousov: Kherson is historically a full-fledged part of Russia
Will Kherson be declared a separate republic, or will it join Russia? What is happening in a city occupied by the Russian army?
Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the new military-civil administration of the Kherson region, tells PolitNavigator about this.
PN: What is the status of the Kherson region today, which is under the control of the Russian military?
K.S: There has never been Bandera, Nazism or other similar figures here; this is primordially Russian land, every inch of which is shed with the blood of Russian soldiers, starting with Suvorov, ending with those who are immortalized on the graves.
That’s why this group of commercial patriots screwed up on the first day and are writing some of their own nasty things from around the corner. These are representatives of the Ukraine that sold our region for the money of grant-eaters and Americans, who perceived the Kherson region as a crypto-colony from which they could suck out and abuse the local population.
PN: What is happening in the region now, how is peaceful life being established, who is helping with this?
K.S: At this stage of development, the Kherson region, with all the opportunities that are given to us, is moving towards stabilizing the functioning of the banking system. We need to pay money - pensions, salaries, social security, we need to stabilize the work of enterprises and return not only to peaceful life, but also to the development of the region.
Russia, DPR, LPR are ready to support us as fraternal people and create conditions in which we will soon switch completely to the ruble, give those who want not Ukrainian citizenship, which, in fact, is nothing, but Russian a citizenship that protects them as citizens of a great power.
Restoration is already underway, the process of structuring is underway. There will be reform, a return to the period not the worst times of the Soviet Union - we are talking about the territorial process of the Kherson region itself. Given that Kherson was not only a large industrial center with the largest enterprises in Europe, these will be lands without American GMOs, which affected the agriculture of the Kherson region. And I think that this is a matter of several years of peaceful skies over the Kherson region.
The Kherson region will truly prosper at a level not just as it was in the last years of oligarchs, feudal lords and land lords, but it will be a socially secure region in which every person will feel like a citizen of one big country.
PN: The Kherson region has returned the coat of arms that was used by the Tauride province during the Russian Empire. Why him?
K.S: If you look at history, Russia made it clear to the Turks, who then also had claims to this territory, that this was originally Russian land, if you carefully look at the history of this coat of arms. This is an intermediate format, then a competition will be determined on which coat of arms we should best keep. But at this stage, in order to go back to the roots of history, we must once again make it clear that we are not a separate formation of some Bandera group, which, as it says, has rights to the Kherson region. We say that we are a continuation of the great history of not just the Russian Federation, but as a full-fledged part of Russia.
PN: Various representatives of Ukraine say that Kherson is preparing for a referendum either on declaring a people’s republic or on joining the Russian Federation. What can you say about this?
K.S: All the referendums, different republics that are being thrown in are one of the moments of Goebbels’ propaganda, which does not correspond to reality. We didn’t even talk about referendums, just like we didn’t talk about republics. Our main task is to create conditions in which the residents of the Kherson region, who were liberated from the Nazis, felt in normal and comfortable conditions, despite the fact that we are not in peacetime conditions, but are waiting for provocations from the Ukrainian authorities, which to the Ukrainians never treated with love. These were hypocrites and those who created conditions in which people were poor, humiliated and brought to their knees.
The situation is stabilizing and returning to normal. Not us - there will be other people who will raise the banner of historical justice. But we will put this issue in the Kherson region without all these fantasies.
PN: At the same time, we regularly hear statements from Ukraine that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have almost launched a counter-offensive. How real is this threat?
K.S: The Ukrainian army cannot and will not go on a counter-offensive, because the Ukrainian army today is the remnants of people who are driven by the fear of reprisals against their family and friends, so they are surrendering en masse today. Because no one wants to fight in conditions when you were taken from the street to the front, for Comrade Zelensky, who is clearly not a representative of the indigenous population of Ukraine, has several passports, forces people to die. And if you don’t go, your relatives will be kidnapped and abused. This is the Reich that I observed in the archives and historical facts, the most fascist form of “democracy”.
So they tell me: “You are a traitor.” And who did I betray? Zelensky, who, as we all know, has already let tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians through his nostril, who is participating in processes in which the more Slavs are destroyed, the better it will be for him and those who today perceive our region as the center of military operations for their economic benefits.
PN: Where do you think the special operations of Russian troops should end?
K.S: The operation will be completed along the borders in which Kyiv will be present, because Kyiv will also be liberated. Those mistakes of the post-war period will not be made, when Joseph Stalin annexed those parts that today are assimilated into people who continue the principles of the Scientology development program - we are talking about the Greek Catholic, which does not smell of traditional Christianity.
Therefore, Western Ukraine, as we hear, a group of assimilated Slavs like the Poles, already has claims to four regions. Therefore, perhaps no one will have any complaints - let them come in and deal with this group of Vuyks. Let's be honest - Kyiv will be liberated, Kievan Rus, and as for everything else - time will tell.
