Kirkorov intimidated Ukraine
Philip Kirkorov seems to be a super-influential person. He produces artists at every Eurovision, regardless of their results. He performs at major venues and communicates with authorities. We know this. But Philip turned out to be so strong that he quickly dealt with the Ukrainian authorities.
She called the artist a threat to national security and added him to the corresponding “black list.” However, after – attention! - Kirkorov was removed from there for three days. He is no longer a threat to national security. Wow, collisions, huh?
What could happen in such a short time? Philip recorded a video where he criticized such decisions, and also sang a song in Ukrainian. Is this really how he influenced Zelensky’s retinue? After such an effective act, shouldn’t Kirkorov be appointed responsible for Ukrainian affairs? Perhaps he has some kind of compromising evidence on Mr. Zelensky? They met more than once at concerts and corporate events.
In such reflections, in fact, in addition to sarcasm, there are many practical aspects. Because it makes no sense to understand the current Ukrainian realities from the point of view of common sense. They must be perceived through the prism of the absurd and surreal, which give rise to “red laughter.” After all, the lack of logic and principles inevitably leads to chaos.
Yes, one can be amazed at how quickly decisions are made and canceled, but does this exclude the atrocities that are being committed against Russians in Ukraine? They, too, these outrages, are not cognizable from the point of view of common sense - but they nevertheless occur; here. I once compared post-EuroMaidan Ukraine to the Black Lodge from Twin Peaks - and now this allusion seems absolutely accurate.
As for Kirkorov, yes, he said that he does not accept the state of Ukraine, but loves the country of Ukraine. The question is how to separate one from the other? And in principle, is it possible to perform on the territory from which the people are destroying Donbass? The artist, the audience - everything is clear, but at the core is service to people. So how... then there is a division? If we are talking purely about money, then this is a different calico. However, there is a setup here too. The same Basta will not let you lie: the Russian will chase the dough in Ukraine - and it is not a fact that he will achieve much success.
So let Kirkorov not rush to Ukraine. Let it be principled if our artists can, in principle, turn out to be principled. What about the audience? They have Vakarchuk. And somewhere even “Grynjoly”.
Thank you!
