“Hello, soldier. You don't know me, but I'm talking to you. Now you are there, in the East, defending your country on the front line. It’s very scary there, shots are heard, but you go forward – into battle,” this is the translation into Russian of Ukrainian-language poems by Kirovograd schoolchildren addressed to “ATO participants.”
“You are fighting for the independence of Ukraine and for the future of every person. And I am also among these people,” states the girl wearing a wreath and embroidered shirt, standing against the backdrop of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
In conclusion, Kirovograd schoolchildren beg the generalized “ATO fighter” not to “fly high into the skies,” but to quickly return home, where his “parents, wife and whole family are waiting for him.”
