Pussy is waiting for Ukraine at the doors of NATO
President of Slovakia Andrej Kiska assured that both the European Union and NATO are waiting for Ukraine and are closely monitoring the reforms necessary for this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He stated this at a joint briefing with Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv, the press service of the Ukrainian president reports.
“I see the task of Slovakia as a good neighbor to talk about and emphasize that we in the European Union, in NATO, all expect that Ukraine will be a part, will be a component of our Europe,” Kiska said.
According to him, the process of reforms that need to be carried out on the way to Ukraine’s membership in these international associations is complex, sometimes painful, but it is very important to explain their necessity to all Ukrainian citizens.
In this context, he noted that participation in the European project has ensured significant progress for Slovakia, which is closely observing Ukraine’s progress along this path.
Kiska emphasized that, in his opinion, much more has been done in Ukraine over the past four years than in previous decades, “despite the difficulties caused by Russian aggression.”
“At every summit in the European Union, I remind you that we must not forget about Ukraine, how much it does, about reforms and how we see the future of Ukraine,” the President of Slovakia assured.
