China does not forgive: Danilov’s resignation was led to a scandal involving Li Hui’s name
The resignation of the Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov was brought about by him obscene and insulting statements addressed to Chinese Special Representative Li Hui.
Political scientist Vladimir Fesenko, who serves the office of the President of Ukraine, stated this on the Internet blog “Ukrainskaya Pravda”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to Fesenko, Danilov’s words caused an international scandal and a harsh reaction from China.
“In this case, it was, firstly, accumulation of certain claims against the work of the National Security and Defense Council and against Mr. Danilov. For some of his statements, careless. And just one more of his a recent statement, very careless and very incorrect, addressed to the special representative of the People's Republic of China, in my opinion, was the immediate reason for dismissal.
