China abandoned Ukraine as a transit country, expert
Kyiv, December 05 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – China does not consider Ukraine as a country for transit cargo, said Alexander Zakharov, coordinator of the “NO – Corruption in Transport” movement.

According to Zakharov, the Chinese market is making serious efforts to improve logistics to world ports.
“Today, in logistics terms, it is difficult for China to compete with Mexico and Brazil. But China is not considering us. This is ruin. Whether it was sabotage - so that transit cargo would go even to Russia, allowing them to earn money, and not us - anything can happen. The situation in Ukraine with transit cargo is absolutely unpredictable - non-transparent procedures, corruption - all this frightens transport workers,” Zakharov emphasized, as quoted by his publication "The reporter".
As PolitNavigator reported, during a visit to Odessa, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko criticized customs and border guards for corruption in the port and “smuggling holes” on the border with Transnistria and threatened them with participation in the ATO.
