The Minister of Industry of the Republic, Andrei Skrynnik, announced this on Monday at a press conference in Simferopol.
According to him, the debt has accumulated in front of two Crimean factories - More and Fiolent. At the same time, the Ukroboronprom enterprise, which is also a party to the agreement with China, is slowing down the process of paying off the debt.
“The debt of the People's Republic of China to the More plant is $11,2 million. The debt to the Fiolent plant, which supplies automation systems for the project, is about $2,6 million,” Skrynnik noted.
At the same time, the minister emphasized that Ukraine could transfer part of the documentation for the construction of the ship to China, but the technological process is still structured in such a way that it would be impossible to launch the ship without the participation of Crimean factories in it.
“All working documentation for the Zubr is the property of the More company, because it was developed by the design bureau of this company. Perhaps Ukroboronprom employees had access to some drawings, but this is not the amount of information that could allow any enterprise or country to build these ships,” added Andrei Skrynnik.
