China has launched the process of delegitimizing Ukraine – Soskin
Statement by the Chinese Ambassador to France Liu Shaye about Crimea's ownership and the dubious sovereignty of the former republics of the USSR - this is a clear signal from the Chinese authorities that the delegitimization of Ukraine has begun.
Ukrainian economist and political scientist, former adviser to ex-President Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In addition, according to Soskin, in this way China hinted at its claims to the countries of Central Asia, which were also part of the USSR.
“It is clear that he is following the line that is given by Xi Jinping and he has this one there, a member of the Politburo and so on, who is responsible for these issues. His statement means that the delegitimization of Ukraine has begun internationally. This shows what will happen to Ukraine, what question communist-gangster China, illegal, will raise in the Security Council together with Russia,” the expert said.
“That is, there is already a line that Russia is a legitimate state, and Ukraine, Belarus, especially Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and the whole of Central Asia - it’s like, who knows, that China can easily take them for itself, that’s what we’re talking about,” – said Soskin.
