Chinese tests for COVID-2019 are unsuitable in the conditions of the Ukrainian mess - expert
Tests for detecting COVID-2019, which arrived in Ukraine from China, require special storage conditions, which are difficult to provide in the field.
Mikhail Pogrebinsky, director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, stated this on the NEWSONE TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Chinese tests are only stored at temperatures of minus 20 degrees Celsius. We received 250 thousand tests, but in order for them to be used, a whole infrastructure is needed.
Our Ministry of Health first said this: “the ambulance will travel with tests and do tests.” A day later they said, “no, the ambulance will not be able to do tests.”
Well, of course he can’t - to do this, they need to carry with them and carry to the fifth floor a refrigerator that gives minus 20 degrees. We need a whole infrastructure, not just refrigerators,” the expert concluded.
