The KIA hinted at a conspiracy between Poroshenko and the “regionals” for parliamentary elections
Kyiv, August 18 (Navigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – According to activist of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine Igor Feshchenko, Kiev is not interested in changes in the electoral legislation, since this will undermine the positions of the “old” political forces.

“The Verkhovna Rada is doing everything to prevent young parties and young politicians from entering parliament. This seems to me to be a conspiracy of the former coalition with the President of Ukraine on the one hand, and the regionals on the other hand. Both of them are trying with all their might to stop the reform process in the country,” says Igor Feshchenko.
The activist considers it logical to hold protests in support of voting on open lists.
“Although they say that there is no time, it is better to postpone the elections for a month and achieve the adoption of changes to the law through protest actions. Otherwise, there simply won’t be any qualitative renewal—those who are trying to monopolize power will simply remain in parliament,” Feshchenko believes.
As Navigator reported, earlier political scientist Kost Bondarenko said that social disasters associated with the disruption of the heating season could begin in the fall, so the authorities will try to hold elections before they begin.
