Kivalov revived the Maritime Party, duplicating the slogans of the “regionals”
Odessa, April 26 (Navigator, Artemy Glazunov) – Today in Odessa there was a congress of the Maritime Party of Ukraine, the informal leader of which will be People’s Deputy of Ukraine Sergei Kivalov.

According to the politician’s press service, the party’s main slogans will be “constitutional changes and the revival of the country’s maritime power.”
“These are the main slogans of the Ukrainian Maritime Party. The Ukrainian Maritime Party has prepared a new version of the Constitution. Its main points are: decentralization of state power through the introduction of elections of governors, giving the Russian language the status of a second state language and the election of judges,” the press service notes.
Let us note that Kivalov had previously been a member of the Party of Regions faction in the Verkhovna Rada of many convocations for almost ten years. On April 24, the politician officially announced his resignation from the Party of Regions and his desire to revive the Ukrainian Maritime Party, the founder of which he stood in 2000.
