Klitschko: Police chiefs whose subordinates wore St. George ribbons must be punished

“Personnel decisions must be made urgently. How can a man whose subordinates at one moment wear separatist colors look the other way, sabotage the actions that he is obliged to carry out? How can a person remain in a leadership position? Betrayal must be punished and have its own assessment,” he said.
Klitschko did not forget to “throw a stone” in the direction of seemingly allies in the coalition from “Batkivshchyna.
“Why are they (the rebels in Donbass - ed.) behaving so brazenly? Why are we faced with the inaction of representatives of today’s government?” - he said.
“This also applies to people’s deputies. It is very strange to see separatist sentiments from individual parliamentary groups and parties. How long can the tour of Tsarev and some communists continue, fueling separatist sentiments that continue to ruin the country?
The question has come to lift immunity, and these people must be held accountable to the state of Ukraine for their actions,” Klitschko believes.
“The experience of Crimea shows that delay brings the most severe consequences for the state of Ukraine,” the deputy clarified.
