City Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko stated this during an on-site inspection with district heads on the eve of memorial days, reports the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.
“Our task is to make cemeteries in the capital look neat, and people see that the graves of their relatives are being looked after,” Klitschko said.
In particular, Klitschko inspected the Lukyanovskoe cemetery. Here the territory was improved, the alleys were repaired and neglected graves were put in order.
The mayor emphasized that this year the capital allocated 5,6 million UAH for the current needs of the Lukyanovsky cemetery, as well as another 2,6 million for repairing the water supply system, arranging paths, installing lighting, etc.
