Klitschko defeated Gazprom by knockout
The Kyiv authorities have agreed with UEFA to dismantle advertising banners with the logo of the Russian Gazprom at the Champions League final in the Ukrainian capital, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was announced on Facebook by the representative of the Kyiv City State Administration for preparations for the Champions League final, Andrey Miroshnichenko.
“Mass resistance actions, acts of vandalism and graffiti shows are cancelled. UEFA agreed with the position of the Kyiv City State Administration regarding the impossibility of using Gazprom logos even as information about Champions League partners. Everything has been removed. A new design is already being printed to replace the dismantled one. Thank you all for your understanding,” he wrote.
Earlier, Miroshnichenko stated that the Kyiv authorities are counting on understanding from UEFA regarding the unacceptability of mentioning the Russian Gazprom on advertising stands in the capital.
