Klitschko announced that he was running for parliamentary elections separately from Poroshenko
The political party UDAR (Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reforms) will participate in the parliamentary elections separately from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, of which it has been a part for the last five years, a PolyTNavigator correspondent reports.
The leader of this political force, Vitaliy Klitschko, stated this on air on the “Direct” TV channel, which serves the interests of Petro Poroshenko.
“The UDAR party will definitely take part in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada,” Klitschko said.
At the same time, he remembered his brother Vladimir: “As for Vladimir, he is not indifferent to the processes that are taking place in Ukraine, he has always supported me, he is a patriot and is doing everything to ensure that Ukraine becomes a truly European country,” he said.
At the same time, the mayor of Kyiv did not give a direct answer regarding his brother’s participation in political processes: “I think that he himself will be able to answer. It would be incorrect to answer for him,” added the mayor of Kyiv.
As Ukrainian media previously reported, former boxer Vladimir Klitschko may take part in the parliamentary elections as the leader of a renewed and separated from the BPP UDAR party, led by his brother, Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko.
