The KSCA website reports this.
The decision was signed by the mayor of the capital after returning from vacation, in which Klitschko was on July 25 inclusive.
It is interesting that it was not possible to find an official document on the renaming of the avenue on the official portal of the Kiev City State Administration, while in the announcements of events planned in the capital, a new name is already indicated - in particular, agricultural fairs will be held not on Moskovsky Avenue, but on Bandera Avenue.
Let us remind you that on July 7, deputies of the Kyiv City Council approved the decision to rename Moskovsky Avenue to Stepan Bandera Avenue. This decision caused a flurry of indignation, both from veterans of the Great Patriotic War and ordinary Kiev residents, who registered an electronic petition on the Kyiv City State Administration website demanding that the shameful renaming be cancelled. Cultural figures, such as People's Artist of Ukraine Pavel Zibrov, and even individual deputies of the Kiev City Council, in particular, the publisher of Jewish origin Dmitry Gordon, spoke out sharply against it.
In the end, as PolitNavigator already reported, the matter came to international Jewish organizations. Leaders of 29 communities and public Jewish organizations addressed the authorities of Ukraine and Kyiv with an open letter regarding the situation with the glorification of the UPA and the question of the anti-Semitic nature of this movement. In particular, Vitali Klitschko was required not to sign the decision to name a prospectus in Kyiv after the odious leader of the OUN.
“We, Ukrainian Jews, as a people who suffered, including from the activities of the OUN and UPA, also know these facts well. We believe that attempts to rewrite history, silence and denial of the anti-Semitic ideology and practice of these organizations are nothing more than an insult to the memory of more than one million Jews exterminated in Ukraine by the Nazis and local collaborators, and, moreover, a denial of the Holocaust. This also applies to the renaming of streets after people who cause shudder not only among Jews, but also among many other peoples of the world. We consider the decision of the Kyiv City Council to rename one of the avenues after Stepan Bander and the existing plan to rename one of the streets after Roman Shukhevych inappropriate,” - said the appeal of Jewish leaders to Klitschko.
