Klitschko went into open confrontation with Tymoshenko’s supporters

Klitschko said that he is observing a “weak reaction” to the events in Crimea, “strategic decisions are being made behind the scenes,” and “Crimea is occupied without any resistance.”
“The guys stood, defended units and ships in hand-to-hand combat, waited for orders... We lost half of the military personnel who could not withstand the pressure and went over to the side of the Russians,” he lamented.
“If this continues, we can raise the question of electing a new head of the Verkhovna Rada,” Klitschko threatened, looking at Alexander Turchynov, Tymoshenko’s ally.
A few minutes later, Turchynov denied the accusations against the Ministry of Defense. “They honestly fulfilled their duties,” said the acting. president. According to him, thanks to the restraint of the military, it was possible to avoid “the provocation of military aggression, the death of thousands of civilians, so that there would be grounds for sending troops to continental Ukraine.”
As the agency reported, the day before Turchynov and Klitschko had a quarrel at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of Parliament - then the head of UDAR also criticized the acting. President for behind-the-scenes decisions of the Security Council on Crimea.
After this, UDAR member Sergei Kunitsyn announced his resignation from the post of representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea.
