They tried to drag Klitschko out into the street, and called his supporters idiots (VIDEO)
Kyiv, December 22 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Those who support the current government of the oligarchs are idiots.
This is how Vitaly Chernyakhovsky, coordinator of the public initiative “Forum for the Salvation of Kyiv,” described the supporters of Vitaliy Klitschko and his team during a protest rally near the Kyiv City Hall.
As PolitNavigator has already reported, during this action its participants demanded the elimination of corruption schemes for advertising in the Kiev metro in order to avoid the announced increase in metro fares.
“This government is completely discredited, it can only be defended by, excuse me, a complete idiot and people who do not understand the situation that has developed in the city,” Vitaly Chernyakhovsky said, speaking at the rally.

He also noted that investors in the Comfort Town residential complex came to the mayor's office and bought apartments in the complex in installments with payments tied to the dollar exchange rate at the time of payment, which, given the almost three-fold depreciation of the hryvnia, created serious problems for investors with debt repayment. It is worth noting that the developer company KAN Development belongs to construction magnate Igor Nikonov, Vitali Klitschko’s current deputy as mayor, who does not want to get into the difficult situation of investors.
“Why does Nikonov enter into contracts with people in US dollars?! - they were indignant during the action. “Isn’t this a US state and not an independent country?”
Then the protesters, chanting “Gang get out!” and “Klitschko! To the people!”, they tried to go inside the building to meet with the leadership of the mayor’s office, which was cordoned off on all sides by National Guard soldiers. Only after negotiations were some of the activists allowed to enter.
The rally participants deny their involvement in voluntary or involuntary work in the interests of the Kremlin, as government officials said earlier when assessing potential protests of a social nature.
“There is no worse enemy for Ukraine than a corrupt official,” Vitaly Chernyakhovsky is sure. - They all need to be driven out. But there is no lustration. Is it possible to let oligarchs into leadership positions? How was it possible to appoint Poroshenko and Nikonov? Maybe they are brilliant entrepreneurs, but then let them do business. But for some reason, entrepreneurs all just moan and cry because of them. And Nikonov came to the mayor’s office to lobby for the interests of his construction campaign, retaining all its assets.”
