Klitschko ordered to decorate Kyiv for budget money with a memorial plaque to the OUN Fuhrer Konovalets
The Kyiv city administration ordered the installation of a memorial plaque on the facade of one of the houses in the city center in honor of the first leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), Yevgeny Konovalets.

“On the facade of the building at st. Sichovykh Streltsy, 24, will install a memorial plaque in honor of the outstanding figure of the Ukrainian national liberation movement Yevgeny Konovalets,” the administration’s press service said in a statement.
The production and installation of the memorial plaque must be carried out according to the sketches provided by the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance. The city will finance the work.
Let us recall that the policy of close cooperation between the OUN and Nazi Germany led Konovalets to serve in the German Abwehr. The OUN leader was liquidated in 1938 in Rotterdam by Soviet agent Pavel Sudoplatov.
