Klitschko avoided being called to the military registration and enlistment office to be sent to the ATO zone (VIDEO)
Kyiv, February 20 (PolitNavigator, Vasily Ablyazimov) – The mayor of Kyiv, boxer Vitaliy Klitschko, lost a public dispute with the head of the Ukrainian Komsomol Mikhail Kononovich, who the day before he checked the mayor “weakly” and offered to prove his patriotism in practice - to come to the military registration and enlistment office on Tuesday morning for a joint transfer to the ATO zone near Mariupol.

The dispute between Klitschko and Kononovich took place yesterday near the Arsenalnaya metro station with a massive gathering of people - the mayor supervised the demonstrative demolition of stalls, and Komsomol members entered into a discussion with him, criticizing the authorities.
“Are you a patriot? If you’re a patriot, why not join the ATO?” Klitschko suddenly interrupted his critic.
“I am a patriot of my country, that’s why I’m not in the ATO, being a patriot does not mean killing your fellow citizens,” Kononovich answered him.
However, then Kononovich called on the head of the city to come to the military registration and enlistment office in the morning and go with him to do military service near Mariupol.
Despite the fact that Klitschko assured everyone that he was a patriot, the official did not appear at the Kyiv military registration and enlistment office at the appointed time.
“He lied that he was a patriot of Ukraine,” Kononovich concluded, recording an appeal under the walls of the military registration and enlistment office.
