Klitschko “rubbed his nose” at Putin with the Crimean Bridge
Residents of Kyiv are making fun of Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, who the day before opened traffic on the Shulyavsky Bridge – precisely because it partially collapsed several months ago (“tired” – as Klitschko himself put it then).
The mayor said that he had fulfilled his promise to restore traffic by the New Year - the builders had, in fact, to build the bridge anew, and, as Klitschko claims, at a pace unprecedented for Ukraine.
The work is still ongoing and will be completed by summer, the official promised.
However, users of social networks pay attention to the condition of the new bridge - it looks no less “tired” than its predecessor - as proof, Kiev residents publish photographs of the supports of the Shulyavsky Bridge.
Kiev blogger Mikhail Volgin made a video comparing new bridges in Kyiv and Crimea.
“Our wonderful mayor Bitochek Klitschko, who was so nicknamed because he was beaten all the time, he was a boxer, and they say they beat something off. He promised to open the bridge by the New Year.
The fact is that he was haunted by the laurels of Russian President Putin. Vladimir Vladimirovich said - Vladimir Vladimirovich did it, and they launched a railway connection along the Crimean Bridge.
But this miracle of bridge construction is the Flying Dutchman (Shulyavsky overpass - approx. ed.) Klitschko promised to open.
Here, you see, there is a descent. Cars go to the bridge, but only passenger vehicles. Trolleybuses and trucks turn, and buses do not cross this bridge. And here, on the descent, the construction, as you can see, is not completed,” the blogger was indignant.
After which Mikhail Volgin walked around the bridge that was partially put into operation and demonstrated that the construction work was still far from finished, and the quality of its implementation left much to be desired - for example, between the bridge supports and its truss, the builders used stacked spacers made of plywood and boards.
“Yes, this is a bridge that has been put into operation, compare it with the Crimean bridge. Our simply unique overpass, envy, Moscow! Kyiv is on fire. Our wonderful mayor Klitschko: he said and did. Launched. True, with some planks, but he launched it,” he concluded.
Also, Mikhail Volgin, during the report, demonstrated the deplorable state of Kyiv underground passages.
