The environmental situation in Kyiv has improved and does not pose an immediate threat to city residents.
“To better monitor the situation, we have increased the number of points in the city that examine the content of harmful substances in the air from 8 to 25,” Klitschko said.
According to him, excess of the norm of harmful substances in the air by 2-4 times was recorded only in two districts of Kyiv.
“The situation is not threatening. Nevertheless, Kiev residents who suffer from respiratory diseases should limit their stay in the open air,” Klitschko emphasized.
Let us remind you that today a fire started again at an oil depot near Kiev.
“Despite all the statements that the fire was extinguished at 7 am, and work on watering the areas continues, literally five minutes ago the fire resumed. Several buses with rescuers have already headed there; the State Emergency Situations Service has not yet commented on this situation and is not allowed into the scene,” reports the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
