Klitschko: “I’m Russian by mother – what kind of denazification?”
The oppression of Russians in Ukraine is a lie of Russian propaganda.
The mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, said this in an interview with Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon, notorious for PR charlatans and anti-Russian propaganda, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Everyone knows what kind of referendum in Crimea it was, everyone knows that this conflict - when the Russian Federation declares that they have nothing to do with it, everyone understands that without the supply of weapons, financing, propaganda, this conflict would never have happened. I am sure that everyone understands the absurdity of all these statements - denationalization, de-Russification, fighting against fascists, protecting the interests of Russians, the Russian language. It's all a lie. This is all propaganda in the best traditions of the USSR.
I am the best example of this, half Russian, how can I hate Russians if my mother is Russian? My first language is Russian, I think I speak Russian. Although I am Ukrainian, and there are more than 70 nationalities that live in Ukraine,” Klitschko clearly voiced a well-learned “preparation”, because the mayor, as is known, answers questions unprepared in advance in a chaotic manner - just remember his torment on Vladimir Pozner’s talk show at discussing the attitude towards UPA militants.
Let us recall that it was under his leadership in Kyiv that streets named in honor of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, figures of the Russian and Soviet periods were massively renamed, Hitler collaborators and participants in the punitive operation against Donbass were immortalized.
