Klimenko, who “leaked” Poroshenko’s Vesti newspaper, acted in the best traditions of the “regionals” who raised the Nazis in Ukraine
Former Minister of Revenue Alexander Klimenko, who fled to Russia and decided to “drain” the once opposition newspaper “Vesti” into the administration of Petro Poroshenko for the sake of the opportunity to return to Ukraine, acted in the best traditions of the Party of Regions, which raised neo-Nazis.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko told PolitNavigator about this.

“As far as I know, the newspaper has recently been controlled by Klimenko. Regarding Klymenko, I have no doubt that he is leaking the newspaper in this way in order to come to an agreement with the junta and return to Ukrainian politics.
This is a deliberate leak by the editors in order to prove their loyalty. I have long said that they are inadequate people. That is why the Russian leadership does not work with them. They are unable to assess the situation; they sincerely hoped and believed that the Russian leadership would be concerned about bringing them back into Ukrainian politics. It didn’t work out that way, they return on their own. There are no taboos for them - they calmly believe that since these people are now in power, they need to work with them.
After all, this is the Yanukovych regime. . It was this regime that raised Ukrainian Nazis and, in the end, the Yanukovych regime suppressed the Russian movement in Ukraine,” Ishchenko noted.
