Klimkin agitates Ukrainians not to travel to Belarus - it is dangerous there and Russian special services
Every Ukrainian who leaves for Belarus must take into account the risks associated with the potential danger due to the actions of Russian special services there, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
“They really (Ukrainians are afraid to travel to Belarus - ed.) and are doing the right thing. They do this not because of the actions of Belarusian structures, but because Russian special services are there, there is a common “black list” with Russia, which I spoke a lot about to the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry. I’m not saying that this is fundamentally dangerous for everyone and that it’s dangerous to go there (to Belarus – ed.), but everyone who travels to Belarus must take into account the risks. I'm talking about the potential danger due to the actions of Russian intelligence services. Unfortunately, we have not one, not ten, not twenty cases,” Klimkin said.
In turn, the press secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Anatoly Glaz called the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin that the presence of Ukrainian citizens on the territory of Belarus could be potentially dangerous as “fable”.
