Klimkin made it clear that he knows better than the Americans what American interests are

He stated this in an interview with the Kiev publication ZN.UA.
“I do not exclude the possibility of elements of cooperation between these two countries in the fight against Islamic radicalism, in other issues, but this will definitely not work either, since it is impossible to overcome Islamic radicalism only by military means, there must be a strategy agreed upon by all key players, which everyone must adhere to , he thinks.
“I do not exclude the possibility of several deals covering individual issues,” Klimkin added.
He also believes that such local transactions can be both medium-term and situational. However, he is inclined to the second option.
“The main thing is that these deals should not be at the expense of others. And a big deal, in my opinion, contradicts the entire logic of American interests,” the Foreign Minister assures.
