Klimkin threatens that Ukraine will leave PACE if Europe recognizes the elections in Crimea
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin stated that Ukraine may refuse to participate in PACE if the powers of the Russian delegation are recognized, despite the holding of State Duma elections in Crimea.

He spoke about this on the air of the “Freedom of Speech” program on the ICTV channel.
Klimkin threatened that if the powers of the Russian delegation in PACE are recognized as positive, Ukraine may refuse to participate in the work of PACE.
“We will consider various options, including not participating in the work of PACE. Of course, I cannot tell this to the people’s deputies of Ukraine, this is their sovereign decision, but I will advise taking very radical steps,” Klimkin said.
