Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin said this during a press conference in Kyiv, the department’s press service reports.
“Budapest Memorandum. Recently, I remember, Lavrov tried to say that Russia allegedly did not violate the Budapest Memorandum. We believe that both politically and legally Russia has violated all the provisions of the Budapest Memorandum,” Klimkin said.
According to him, Russia must pay for its actions.
“Russia violated the Budapest Memorandum, and must pay for it, both politically, but also must pay for it as part of the implementation of decisions on claims against Russia,” he said.
Let us recall that earlier Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused Ukraine of violating the Budapest Memorandum.
