Klimkin strikes back: Belarusian diplomat expelled from Kyiv
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, taking into account the situation that has developed around the Ukrainian journalist Pavel Sharoiko, as well as the expulsion of a Ukrainian diplomat from Belarus, decided to declare persona non grata and expel the first secretary of the Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was reported by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maryana Betsa.
“In connection with the situation of Ukrainian journalist Pavel Sharoiko and the expulsion by the Belarusian side of a Ukrainian diplomat, an employee of the Ukrainian Embassy in Belarus, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also decided to declare persona non grata and expel the diplomat of the Belarusian side of the Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine,” she said.
According to her, the first secretary of the Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine has already left the country.
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian journalist Pavel Sharoiko was accused of espionage in Belarus, which was officially announced by the representative of the country’s KGB, Dmitry Pobyarzhin. Belarus also declared the counselor of the Ukrainian Embassy persona non grata.
