Klimkin resigned and wants to become a deputy
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin wrote a letter of resignation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He announced this in a video message on his Facebook page.
He claims that he warned the newly elected president about his decision in advance.
“He should have the right to his own foreign policy team, to build a foreign policy strategy,” Klimkin explained.
Klimkin noted that he would send a statement to the Verkhovna Rada after the inauguration of Vladimir Zelensky.
The minister also said that he plans to run for the Verkhovna Rada.
In the comments on Klimkin’s page, Ukrainians rejoice at his departure and ask whether he is going to run for the regional Duma of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
“Ukraine is very happy about your departure. I only regret that I lost time with you. All those who speak are hypocrites, or they themselves belonged to the feeding trough.”
“To become a deputy - where? To the regional Duma of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation?”, subscribers of his page write to Klimkin.
However, the famous propagandist Vitaly Portnikov thanked Klimkin for his joint work.
Thank you!
