Klimkin promised to write a post on Twitter exposing the “intrigues of Russia”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has prepared the entire package of documents on the termination of the treaty of friendship, cooperation and partnership between Ukraine and the Russian Federation and will submit it for consideration in the near future, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin.
“These documents have already been prepared, the whole package... This has always been our position. We have worked it out, and in the coming days we will introduce it formally,” the minister said.
According to Klimkin, “Russia violated everything in the treaty that was possible, starting from the preamble.” He promised to publish a post in the near future, which will prove how Russia has violated the treaty since its inception.
“In the coming days you will hear, we will directly submit this for consideration,” he added.
Earlier, Petro Poroshenko instructed the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to submit a package of documents in the near future to begin terminating the treaty of friendship and cooperation with Russia.
In turn, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov called the decision of the Ukrainian authorities to withdraw from the Treaty of Friendship an unreasonable step.
