About it Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin said on the 1+1 TV channel.
“If the migration flow from Ukraine increases many times, then, of course, there will be an examination of why this is happening. Then we will talk with the European Commission and with individual countries. But again, do not use the visa-free regime to work. Come and look at the situation. Look for opportunities, but don't break the European Union code. EU laws must never be broken. Just like ours, by the way,” Klimkin advises the Ukrainians.
Let us remind you that on the night of June 11, the visa-free regime for Ukraine came into effect. From now on, Ukrainians can visit almost all of Europe without visas if they have a biometric passport, the required amount of money and confirmation of the purpose of their stay in the EU.
True, contrary to expectations, there was no rush at the border. As of the morning of June 12, only 1894 citizens of Ukraine took advantage of the visa-free regime with the European Union.
