“There is a Russian lobby in Europe. The Russian side is trying to buy European politicians wholesale or retail, and sometimes journalists. Steinmeier is by no means a representative of those forces that in any way sympathize with today's Russia and the Russian regime. And I am sure that Europe will remain committed to solidarity, because for it it is a question of the survival of that Europe, the values that it carries. Without today's Europe, we generally have a question about the existence of the European project. In general, I believe and tell my European friends and partners that without Ukraine, without our charisma, without our drive, the European project will not work,” Klimkin assures.
