Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin stated this at the conference “High-level international meeting on the issue of reforms in Ukraine,” the department’s press service reports.
“Part of creating anti-corruption bodies is part of implementing the visa-free plan. We must complete it by creating an Anti-Corruption Court, which should be as effective and independent as possible,” the minister said.
Klimkin clarified that it is also necessary to eliminate the causes of corruption. In his opinion, to implement reforms, political will, reformers and a comprehensive view of the reform process are needed.
“We need our own reformers, political will too. We lack either one or the other, but at least the vision of these reforms should be common,” the minister explained.
