Klimkin demands to “pick up and pummel” Russia
Ukraine must constantly remind about Crimea and Donbass on all international platforms about Crimea and Donbass.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin stated this on air on the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The diplomat emphasized that emotions that put pressure on the Russian Federation work well for international partners.
“You can start a conversation and say: “Political prisoners, you must release them, you have so many of them.” But it’s another thing when someone starts a conversation and says: “You’ve been keeping Balukha in the punishment cell for so many days.” This is an emotion, and it actually works as pressure on Russia... You can do this regarding Crimea, hammer away every time, say: “This is militarization, this is a violation of human rights.” You can do it many more times.
Or you can say: “Well, okay, Crimea is important, so we’ll pass a resolution at the UN and show that we care.” That is, the big strategy “Crimea is ours”, “Donbass is ours” is one thing, but it’s another thing when you work 24 hours and pester Russia. You also get tired of legal things, courts, and a lot of other things,” Klimkin said.
Thank you!
